Introduction to Three-Box Hot and Cold Thermal Shock Chamber
a. There are three zones: high temperature zone, low temperature zone and test zone. The sample is placed in the test zone and cannot be moved.
To do a high temperature shock, open the circulation duct between the high temperature zone and the test zone, and close the others;
to do a low temperature shock, open the circulation duct between the low temperature zone and the test zone, and close the others.
b. After the high temperature shock, you must experience a normal temperature shock, that is, you must first close the air duct door between the high temperature zone and the test zone, open the air duct between the test zone and the outside of the box, and draw one out and one in.
After the temperature stabilizes, if a complete normal temperature shock is required, keep the temperature constant for a period of time. If a complete normal temperature shock is not required, immediately close the air duct between the test area and the outside of the box, and then open the air duct between the low temperature area and the test area to perform a low temperature shock. The same is true in reverse.
c. For the three-box hot and cold thermal shock test chamber, there must be a transition section where the exhaust air or cold air reaches the normal temperature first between the high and low temperature shocks.
The sample can be subjected to normal temperature shock without opening the box door. However, the two-box type does not need to go through this transition, the conversion time is faster, the impact temperature difference can be larger, the uniformity is better, and the stabilization time is shorter.
Just because the hanging basket is constantly switching between hot and cold environments, the entire transmission system also experiences the test of hot and cold environments, and its life is shorter than that of the three-box one.
